What should I bring/wear for a Pilates session and Strengthening session?
Pilates: You should wear comfortable workout clothing that sits close to your body. Pilates is always practiced shoeless, but socks are optional.
Strengthening: You should wear sneakers and comfortable clothing.
How often should I take Pilates or strengthening?
This answer is different for everyone. Most people see the best results from taking Pilates 2 to 3 times a week or combining Pilates and strengthening. Your instructor will help you make a decision.
Will Pilates help me lose weight?
Pilates is a system which, when learned correctly, helps strengthen and tone the body with focus on your core musculature. Pilates will definitely help your body and help you lose inches. Pilates can aid in your weight loss process, but you must also watch what you are eating and add a cardio workout to your exercise program.
Will Pilates help me recover from an injury?
If you have an injury, you must have a release from your physician.
